Ryan Fazio is a state Senator representing Connecticut's 36th District. Elected in 2021, he's been re-elected twice since in the toughest political terrain. In the Senate, Ryan has been the leading voice for cutting electric rates and taxes. He has been the state's leading critic of the public benefits charge and co-authored the first-ever cut of significance to those costs. He has co-authored several other laws to protect taxpayers, defend local control of decision-making for towns, improve health care access, and strengthen utilities oversight.
